Prawns Saganaki

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 500g of large peeled uncooked prawns
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 100g of feta cheese
  • 1 jar of Greka tomato sauce with Ouzo & Green Peppers
  • Small handful of flat leaf parsley – finely chopped
  • Fresh milled pepper to taste


Place a pan over medium to high heat. Add two tablespoons of olive oil in the pan and add the prawns. Fry the prawns for 2/3 minutes.

Add the whole jar of Greka Tomato Sauce with Ouzo & Green Peppers. Stir and let the sauce bubble away for 5/10 minutes. Season with freshly milled black pepper. Crumble the feta on top, stir and remove from the heat. Sprinkle the finely chopped parsley.

Serve with crusty bread to mop up the beautiful sauce!
